Who We Are

Courage for Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, registered in Virginia as The Courage Cup. Our mission is to create, find, and support programs for at-risk urban youth that directly improve the health and well being of those children in the Mid-Atlantic region through financial support and volunteer commitment. Courage for Kids strives to make a lasting difference in the lives of children, their families, and our community…one need at a time.

Guiding us in our mission are our core values:

• Focus on the critical needs of at-risk urban youth in the Mid-Atlantic region
• Make a difference in the local community for at-risk youth
• Celebrate the diversity of the programs we offer and the volunteers and donors who make all programs possible

Our vision is that every child has the same opportunities no matter what obstacle they are facing.
